1. You must be 18 years of age or older to use this forum (Dive Buddy Finder).

2. Unless you already know the person offline, always assume the person you are dealing with on the Internet is not who they claim to be and conduct yourself accordingly.

3. Never give out personal information like last name, addresses, phone numbers, school names or where you work.

4. Once you've met an online friend never go anywhere private with them until you know them better.

5. Never arrange to travel great distances alone to see an online friend, even if you’ve already met face-to-face.

6. Always tell a friend, relative, or another trusted adult what you are up to, where you will be, who you will be with, and when you will be back and don’t deviate from your plans without clearing it with them first.

7. Don't trust your life underwater with a dive buddy you met online until you are confident in their skills. Do a few practice dives with them in safe conditions before attempting any serious dive.

8. Check their credentials. If you dive with someone you've just met, make sure that person is a certified scuba diver and check their c-cards.

9. The Lehigh Valley Dive Center and/or their agents are not responsible for any incidents and/or accidents as a result of scuba divers who, by using this forum, locate, contact, and/or dive with other scuba divers and/or anyone. You, and/or your scuba diving buddies, are solely responsible for any incidents and/or accidents that may occur during any and all scuba diving activities both above and/or below the water.
